Lil Nas X was hospitalized Monday after he “lost control of the right side of” his face.

The rapper opened up about the recent medical scare in an Instagram post where he showed footage of himself attempting to move his face. “And when I smile,” he said while trying to smile but proving unsuccessful on his right side. “This is me doing a full smile right now, by the way.”

The right side of Lil Nas X’s face stayed stagnant in the clip: “I can’t even laugh right, bro what the fuck, Oh my God.” After sharing the news, he gave his followers a few updates via his Instagram Story confirming he was healthy and holding up. “Imma look funny for a lil bit but that’s it,” he wrote.
